@jeffborzello UNLV will host a scouting combine to showcase its players for NBA personnel October 23-24, sources told ESPN

‏@EvanDaniels All 30 NBA teams are expected to be represented at LSU's NBA combine today, a source told Scout.

Kentucky/LSU/UNLV now have preseason NBA scouting combines on their campuses. This will no doubt be a huge recruiting advantage in the coming years as it is clearly a pattern going forward. It would be wise for Big East schools to adopt this strategy so that their players can get more exposure.

We gotta get more one-and-dones first. Butler will never land that type of player regularly. Maybe once a decade.

St. John's, Georgetown and DePaul have the best cities for something like that. Set it up!

I think Jay's idea of a league combine is a great idea. Invite the preseason All BE guys and other players on the NBA radar. If SJU or DePaul were willing to host, they are cities that would make it easy to attract scouts and NBA executives.

Cooley has had an open door policy for the most part in the past. When Cotton, Dunn and Ledo were all on the roster, they had NBA guys come in several times.

Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully it's something we can get done.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
