Georgetown

wouldn't be surprised if Georgetown won the Big East, but had to vote for Villanova. Until someone knocks villanova from the top spot it's hard to pick anyone else

G'town finished 4 games behind Nova last year.

Did G'town bring in so much more talent to make up those 4 games or did Nova lose talent that they will drop? I say neither.

Here's what I see...Nova has 4 players that are all top 3 at their positions in the BE in Ochefu (C), Hart (SF), Arch (2G), Brunson (PG).

Nova has dominated this league in the regular season the last two years. Until someone can knock of the BIg Dog, they'll still be the Big Dog.

Way too many question marks with Georgetown to put them in first place. I actually had them fourth this year.

I voted for VU but it wouldn't surprise me if either Xavier or Georgetown won the regular season this year. I think the final results this year will be closer than the past two years and wouldn't be surprised if the two teams were tied at the end for first. As much as I'd like to see VU go 16-2 again this year, I don't think it will happen. I think the Big East regular season winner will end up at 14-4.

I'm a little surprised this is as close as it seems. Not sure is it's lack of confidence in Nova or something about the Hoyas that improved them dramatically that I am missing.
