Lavin Joins Fox Sports

Lavs will call games and be in studio for the pre, post and half time broadcasts.

I like Lavin and think he will be a good addition.

Lavin is one of the best announcers.

I'm kind of hoping when we get to the Big East tourney, we see a 3 man booth for early part of tourney with Gus/Raft/Lavin. Think Raft/Lavin would feed off each other extremely well. Then have Lavin calling the final with Gus.

Was Lavin a color commentator while at ESPN or was he a studio analyst?

yep- the parallel to me is Doug Collins with the NBA. Not the best coach- but one heck of an announcer.
