I have DePaul here, but since they've already been slotted, I voted for Seton Hall. While I am not particularly high on Leitao, I don't think he is as bad a hire as I originally thought. He can't be worse coaching defense than Purnell, right? In addition, they return Garrett Jr. and SF Myke Henry. If they can get some consistent play from Stimage or Hamilton inside and another returnee or freshman to step up, I think they finish 8th or maybe 7th.

10: St. John's
9: Seton Hall
8: DePaul

That one guy who keeps voting for PC will finally get it. Probably around the 5th or 6th place finish.

This is why I don't like doing it 10-1.

A 1-10 rating is a fan popularity contest; how cool would it be if CU fans ganged up to vote ourselves first, or any other fanbase for that matter?

A 10-1 vote stops crap like that because if you aren't super strong, no amount of solidarity will get you anything more than moved up a spot or two.

The true way to do it is to do a real poll. You get a much better handle frankly on teams.

I think if we did a real poll, it's very possible that DePaul isn't even close to 10th.

I know I tried to set up a 1st place poll, but admin didn't let me for some reason.

We should have all 1156 users submit a 1-10 poll and then someone can go and count tally each vote. That would give us the most accurate data.

However, in lieu of that I created a 10 through 1 poll just as we used to have done on the MVC board. Sorry.

I don't see why we couldn't have both a 10-1 and a 1-10. I think the differences could be really interesting in that 4-7 range in particular.

I think where it would be most interesting would be in that 4-7 range. I think there's going to be some teams in here that as many folks think can finish 4th as they do think they can finish 7th or 8th. A team like Providence comes to mind.

Frankly I'm surprised it took this long to get to SetonHall.
