Message board downtime - apology

I wanted to apologize for the inaccessibility of the message board over the past couple of days. There was a server issue with the host provider that affected a number of clients including this site.

I would like to thank the many board admins and Big East fans who communicated with us via email and twitter with comments and suggestions. We have not experienced significant downtime previously, but are exploring new host providers to prevent this from occurring again.

Now that the conference schedule has been released, we can finally focus all of our energies on discussion of the upcoming season.

I know it's pricey and typically considered overrated, but I've used various hosting packages with GoDaddy for a few years now, and I've really experienced issues just once. (There was a 24-hour outage in 2012, but they gave all members store credit as part of their apology.)

I fully understand how frustrating it can be. Been there. Thanks for all the updates on the situation. No one here blames you for what happened, and, if they do, they don't understand how web hosting works.

I guess the Host provider has an ACC fan working for them, and can't stand Big East Basketball.

Thanks for letting us know. By the second(or third day) I was fearful HLOH may have met an untimely demise
