Creighton's Italy Trip

Creighton had their first of 3 games today in Italy. They destroyed what was described as a not so good team, 119-47. Nice to see them play against other competition though. Leading scorer was Malik Albert with 20 points. Freshman PF Martin Krampelj had 15 points and freshman G Khyri Thomas had 17. Both these guys figure to get significant minutes based on practices so far.

only thing strange about the box score is going 6-23 from 3 point range. Kind of un-Creighton like.

You weren't kidding. I don't know if these kids are just bad or we are just used to very good basketball.

If u look at the video, there isn't space for the corner three so that may or may not have had something to do with it.

Not relevant. But this game still amazes me.

Glad we can look back on it now and laugh. That was truly amazing. Watching it now I enjoy finding one or two fans and watching their reactions after each successive three. There are a few fans near the beach that crack me up.

Except that was one of Creighton's biggest issues last year, 157th nationally in 3pt% with 34.6% and their 3pt % was only 33.9% in conference. Let it fly pretty much only works with elite shooters and they were not that last year, and obviously it's far too early to comment on weather they've improved on that weakness it's certainly not an argument to the contrary.
