This is a great story, because it's about a guy who made bad decisions, while having everything in life going for him, who paid the price for his actions and used that time to put himself on the right track. Better yet, he moves through all of it willing to share his experience so that others may learn from him.

I am particularly impressed with Mack's approach towards helping Xavier players manage their own "brands." It should always be more than about basketball. I suspect most Big East teams have something like that discipline in place.
