Marquette NBA players getting PAID

According to Painttouches: Marquette players Wade, Butler, Crowder, Matthews and Novak (only ones guaranteed for next year though Buycks and McNeal likely will be on a roster) are guaranteed at least $224 million year. The rest of the Big East combined is guaranteed $214 million.

Not usually a big NBA guy (I do love my Bulls) but that's some serious cash for 5 players and like 90% of that is from four of them.

Xavier's HOF'er D. West gave up 11 million to win, so thats worth something. But other than that, not much to show in the NBA for X. Semaj is putting up great numbers so hopefully he gets a shot to get some NBA minutes. That being said, a lot of our alumni are doing very well overseas.

You're reporting Wade and Matthews old salary it's now $16,407,500 for Matthews and Wade just signed a 1 year $20M and you forgot Crowder who just resigned for $7M as well.

Just addressing the Georgetown comparison

That's 20 + 16.4 + 16.4 + 7 + 3.8 = 66.6M this year for Marquette

Compared to Georgetown's 17.1 + 15.6 + 9.4 = 42.1M this year for Georgetown

Personally i don't know how they calculated everything out saying MU's guys were making more, maybe they included the season ending salaries of Buycks (unknown), Blue (unknown) and McNeal (981K) who were on the Lakers and Suns at the end of last season. Also possible that Doc Rivers (10M) and Jom Boylen (unknown salary) were included in their salary count.

Lol nice shrug off but own up to being wrong on the Georgetown part just like I am for reporting something before checking it. Thanks for checking the facts it made me ask paint touches where they got their info (spotrac) and found out they were basing it off guaranteed money so after double checking their figures (nothing better to do on a lazy saturday morning) I've found Painttouches was wrong and that you forgot Hollis Thompson as well as Crowder on your list.

MUBox, You went back to edit your post to say "according to Painttouches" but didn't amend their incorrect statement when you yourself learned that it wasn't remotely accurate. Why? Great work by you to do the leg work. But why not, while editing, did you not call out their error in the OP?
