From reading the Northwestern and Colorado State ESPN previews, i learned:
1. They really dislike Bill Carmody.
But in Carmody's 13 seasons at Northwestern, he had double-digit wins 12 times and actually made the NIT. In the 30 years prior to Carmody arriving, NU had won in double-digits only 7 times.
Also, Carmody in his final 5 seasons had actually won 17, 20, 20, 19, then 13 games... pre-Carmody, Northwestern hadn't won more than 15 games in a season ever.
Also, Northwestern hired Carmody from the hc spot at Princeton, and he was a former assistant to Pete Carril... why would NU or ESPN expect anything other than the Princeton offense with passing and backdoor cuts, etc.
2. I then learned:
That the Colorado State Rams play in Boulder...?
