Ouch would've like to keep him in the BE with so many BE schools interested.

Hopefully this turn of events does not allow Uconn to steal him.

It's irrelevant now that Temple's committed to Notre Dame, but if anything Sterling going to UConn likely would've hurt their chances for him. Speculation has been the Temple specifically didn't want to the same school as Ashton or Sterling because he didn't want to be "Ashton's little brother" or "Sterling's little brother." So Sterling transferring to UConn likely would've knocked them out of the race along with Pitt, Seton Hall, and Texas.

Damn, I was really hoping to see him in the Big East. Besides the fact that he's a good player, it would have made for a good topic talking about the Gibbs family and the Big East.

UCONN will have a hell of a team this year. That is in contrast to a 20-15 team and first round NIT loss last year.

A real shame Gibbs did not stay at SH however after last year it is to be expected. SJU will have almost NO experience this coming season except for Whitehead and may challenge DePaul for the cellar. Their coach seems to be a large part of the problem. Can any SHU fans explain how the program got to this state? If I remember correctly Seton Hall was ranked in the top 25 for a part of last season and then the program imploded. They have had problems in the past but this seems undeserved.
