Could be. Does seem odd that at least three are going this summer! Don't know the background for the trip though.

The Nova/Nebraska game will get buried on FS1 that night. At bare minimum it'll be going up against the Champions Classic. Likely a 2nd game as well on ESPN's. Not sure why they didn't schedule that on Wednesday instead of Tuesday night.

FS1 needs programming on Tuesday. They will have games just like they did the past two years.

saw a post- NBA deadline top 25 on NBC....
Big East plays 3 of the top 4 Big Ten Teams-
#12 Georgetown @ #3 Maryland
Creighton @ #15 Indiana
#18 Xavier @ #17 Michigan
DePaul @ Penn St

Nebraska @ #9 Villanova
Iowa @ #23 Marquette
Illinois @ Providence
Rutgers @ St John's

The only top 4 Big Ten team we don't get this year is #7 Michigan St. #19 Wisconsin 5th in this poll.

We play Wisconsin every year. It won't be part of the Gavitt games, but we have them on the schedule.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

This further shows how Fox got screwed on this. BIG 10 gets 5 ranked teams in their home games. BE get 2 both of them BE clubs. None of the good B10 teams had to go on the road, they all got home games, while 2 of our top 3 have to go on the road. Things would be better both for fox and competitively if they had Indiana go to Creighton, Michigan play @ xavier and then Villanova play @ Nebraska.

I think it's been mentioned before but Xavier requested to play on the road. The games don't seem to be that complicated to me, with so many teams that have to sit out every year it seems like the individual teams actually have a decent amount of say over what goes on. I'm sure one of Maryland or Georgetown could have vetoed that game if they really didn't want to play it. Likewise in a few years when the Xavier v Ohio State game happens my guess is that it will be played just once and in Columbus, with Xavier getting a home game against a Michigan State or some other power to make up for it.
