Jim Crews and Tim Miles coaching? Did they try to find two of the coaches who had the most horrific seasons possible?

They probably had to get coaches who weren't fired who weren't playing in any postseason tournament- and who wanted to do it. That seriously limits the numbers.

What the heck is Ralston Turner of North Carolina State doing on the West team? For that matter, what's Notre Dame's Pat Connaughton doing on the West team as well?

It's kinda funny that the coach for the west is further east than the coach for the east.

The 3-Point Contest and Slam Dunk Competition was held at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Did anyone here get a chance to see it live? I saw the end of the 3-pointers... Cassandra Brown of the Portland Pilots hit her first 9 shots and beat Kevin Pangos by 1 point.

I noticed Alex Barlow there, and Jamie Crockett, Kameron Woods, and Darrun Hilliard. Pretty good group of players nationwide.

Woods might have been there, but he wasn't participating in either of those competitions last night. I think the only other guy that wasn't mentioned that was participating was Matt Carlino. Barlow actually made it to the finals of the Men's 3 point shootout and lost to Pangos by a point. Home court was a big help there as Barlow had taken and made less threes than anyone else in the competition this year.

Kind of wild all the guys that participated last night that have played games at Hinkle. Along with all the Big East guys, both Kevin Pangos and Keifer Sykes have played there during their collegiate careers. Proud of the crowd they were able to put in there too, looked like a packed house and a fun environment.

Big East Squad - If you're looking for someone to blame for Harrison sticking out like a sore thumb, we may want to look back to media day:

Hahaha, that was great, thanks for posting.

It's awesome that the Stain Train is in this, but he may have one of the most ill-suited playing styles for an All Star game. It will be interesting to see how he does in that type of environment.
