Butler AD Barry Collier told me BU and Cincinnati are arranging a home-and-home that would begin next season at UC, 2016-17 at Hinkle.

We won't rip out the water fountains in Hinkle if we lose, I promise...

I'd also like to see more OOC matchups with Cincy and UCONN too. It was always fun playing you guys.

interesting. Good for Butler because the game will be on ESPN when it's at Cincy, which is a plus.

Kind of interesting timing this series getting done with everything going on in Indiana right now. Just was seeing that Kevin Ollie won't be going to the final 4 as a result of a state ban in travel to Indiana.

1. The tentative announcement of this series from the OP's tweet was before the law was signed by the Governor and this whole thing blew up.

2. The law, as it currently stands, won't still be in place by the time the first game (which is in Cincinnati) will be played. Either the law as we know it will be gone, or the Governor will. I won't say no one approves of the law within the state, but very few do, and even they don't want to see all of the threats of businesses or conventions leaving come to fruition.

3. The state travel ban by Connecticut is a political PR move. If this was 2016 (Women's Final 4 will be in Indy next year), I can guarantee you the same move would not be made. Politicians in general like to make a big show about things, and this move won't significantly harm anyone. He's not going to, but if Kevin Ollie really wanted to come to the final 4, he could because the Governor said that the decision on whether or not to travel to Indiana was up to UConn even though Ollie is technically a state employee. Hardcore ban.
