Also, Old Dominion was one of the 1st 4 out. So them beating the team that beat Tulsa is pretty much meaningless. Speaking of that- that may have been the shot of the month last night. Real smart play by the ODU guy go right up the sideline where the guy from Murray St had to get out of the way or it would have been a block call for sure and then set up for a long shot that was a swish.
I agree that Temple got screwed, but not because they are in NY. With a 34 RPI and a win over Kansas, they shouldn't have even been considered a bubble team. They should have been in because their resume was good enough for them to be a solid choice.
Tulsa's 20 blow out loss to a mid major is just further evidence of what we already knew. They ain't that good this year. That was evident before the selections were made, and it's even more evident today. Heck, they struggled to beat William & Mary on their own court in their earlier NIT game
