I Always root for my Big East Brothers but this one is extra special to me tonight. Really hoping the Friars take care of business and send the Flyers packing!

This is a huge game for the program. Providence needs to get the monkey off our back of having not won in the tourney since our magical elite 8 run in 97. Cooley has gotten us back to the dance, back to relevance, but its time to win a game and advance.

absolutely! Really feel Providence can go a long way- has to start with the first. Would love them to hammer them. BE has taken care of business in a big way!

I think PC will win but I am not totally confident. Dayton did just make their E8 run last year so they have players with NCAA tournament experience. And they have won 26 games this year so its not like they are some slouch. I just hope that Cooley reminds the team that they can be the first PC team to win an NCAA game since 1997. I think with so many players likely playing their last games (Dunn, Henton, Desrosiers etc.) they will get the win. But it ain't called March Madness for nothing.

Dayton got a gift. If the kid, Marks, didn't turn the ball over twice in the last two minutes due to over-dribbling,, and get himself trapped in the corner and throwing up a desperation shot, Dayton would have lost. PC will not beat themselves. Unless Dayton plays significantly better, this will be an relatively easy victory for the Friars.

They also get to play in Columbus. And Dayton fans are like locusts, they will turn out in droves. I still remember the crowd they brought to San Juan a number of years back.
