they were probably one of the first 5-6 teams out of the NIT. Mostly to do with all the smaller conference champs losing their tourney games. The bottom 10 teams were all auto bids so they would have gotten one of those bids.

I hope Seton Hall gets into the NIT and beats UConn in the final. MSG will be packed.

Now that's hilarious. Did you actually watch Seton Hall play in the Big East Tournament? That look like a team that wants to keep playing to you? You want to see them go lose by 30 to Hofstra in the CBI? Yeah, that will help the program.

This program is dead. Do we really need to keep kicking the corpse? Just ignore Seton Hall. I know I will. Season tickets already cancelled, no intention of ever watching another game until Willard is gone which I expect will be around the year 2037.

If they beat Marquette they likely would've been in the NIT, but after missing out on that, I really see no benefit to them playing in something like the CBI. As was clearly evident in the Marquette game in the BET, this team's spirit was broken. By season's end their will to compete was gone. There's no point in making them play more games that they don't want to play. The best thing for them to do right now is just take a few weeks completely off from basketball and then hit the gym and start training for next year.

Just looking- they would have been 17-15.

The 6 seeds that got in at large were UTEP(22-10) and Alabama(18-14). Would have been real close with them and Alabama I think. I think some would have hinged on how they competed vs Nova quite frankly.
