How many think any of Creighton, DePaul, Marquette, and Seton Hall have a shot at this years NIT?

Not sure, but if Seton Hall gets the shit together they could make a run in the Big East tournament.

Seton Hall has a chance. Will hinge on how many of the 1 bid leagues conference champs lose in their conference tournaments... I'm kind of thinking a win in the BET 1st rd probably clinches them a slot.

The other 3 have 0 chance.

Assuming we get the 6 in, Seton Hall is the only one with a legit chance of NIT.

I'm a guy half empty type of guy. But I am worried about my Muskies. I think they need to win at Creighton and at Big East Tourney Game to make the Dance. Creighton on the road for Sr. Night scares me. Right now I hate to say this but our best chance at a NIT Team is Xavier.

I don't think at all that they need both. while a loss at Creighton would be a 5th sub 100 loss, the win in the BET would be another top 50 win. Or avoid a 5th sub 100 loss, and should be ok. I just think they need 1 or the other.

1 thing that is a BIG plus for Seton Hall right now is the #1 seeds in the various minor tournaments are doing very well...
4 bids set so far- only 1 #1 won it- North Florida in the Atlantic Sun, but then MVC Northern Iowa and Wichita were both going to get in the NCAA. Only Big South and OVC did the #1 regular season champ not win... And of the 9 that are ongoing, in all but the Patriot league the #1 seed is still alive- with 6 of the 9 in the title game already(and 3 of those will play at home for the title). A 7th is Gonzaga who is going NCAA no matter what of course. So looks promising for there to not be anywhere near as many NIT bid thieves as there was last year(when we had 13 of them). Of the 14 that have started this year- 9 of those tournaments had NIT bid thieves last year. So we could be looking at an extra 6-7 at large selections for the NIT, which obviously helps Seton Hall out a LOT.

Well if Seton Hall doesn't turn things around they have no shot at the NIT.
