2 games tonight-
7pm- Providence 10-6 20-9 @ Seton Hall 6-10 16-12
9pm- St John's 9-7 20-9 @ Marquette 3-13 11-17
both on FS1
for 1st game- for Providence, a chance to keep control of own destiny for finishing 2nd.
for Seton Hall- going to say this- a win and all of a sudden the Georgetown game on Saturday becomes big for them- win there- and they're 18-12, around a 60 RPI- and if they can make the BET SF, they would have a real shot at a tourney bid(20-13 has them at a 50.4 RPI).
2nd game-
St John's- needs this game to try to get out of the 8/9 deathtrap. Kind of game you have got to win.

You hit the nail on the head re St. John's being a 8/9 seed. Have to try and get out of that. Of course, a bad loss could send us back to a 10/11

this is true.
what is amazing-
# of teams to make sweet 16-
7 seeds- 20
8 seeds- 11
9 seeds- 5
10 seeds- 22
11 seeds- 17
12 seeds- 20
13 seeds- 6
how insanely crazy is it in terms of making the sweet 16, it's better to be a 13 seed than it is a 9 seed?

They're shooting absolutely lights out right now. Good thing they keep fouling or we would be hosed.

Interesting. I'm actually rooting for the BE NCAA tourney teams to maximize their NCAA seeding at this point. Figure the BET chips will fall where the fall.
But you will likely get your wish. PC is playing like garbage and I thought this one might be a loss for some reason.

Wow, half of PC's points came from the free throw line in that half. Not a terrible tradeoff for the Hall to keep the Friar's fieldgoal % low (especially considering the fouls have been spread around leaving nobody in real trouble).

Love Delgado's game.

Even with the league's best rebounder, SHU is an atrocity on the glass.

Wow, that was a different second half for PC.
Whitehead was right to give Dunn the foul there. Dunn should have dribbled out the game.
