LOL both coaches have been T'd up already in this game. What a joke.

The zebras are making it about them.

This XU vs BU game has some of the worst officiating I've ever seen. Holy crap...

I mean seriously--Ting up mack for stomping his foot? Give me a break.

And the most recent call on Dunham for standing under the hoop with his hands straight up...wow.

Officiating in the BEast this year has been downright awful. Somebody needs to review this after the season.

The officiating in this game is atrocious! Both ways just terrible. Whatever happens, this isn't a Basketball game.

Agree. Maybe they shouldn't wait until after the season and get it done before the BE tournament.

huge win for St John's, and Xavier up 11 late 1st half.

just looking at the St John's/Xavier game-
For St John's- a win, and they just need 1 more win vs Georgetown/Marquette/Nova/BET to clinch I think. A loss, and they would need 2 more wins.
For Xavier- I really want to say a win and they would be in. I would caution though they probably would have to beat Creighton to avoid the bad loss(what could be a 5th sub 100 loss-3 or 4 is already quite a few and a 5th could be huge).

I think for those rooting for 6 bids, probably want to root in the St John's/Xavier game for St John's to win. Just looking at Xavier with the Creighton game and maybe having to win that regardless- a win for St John's would propel them a lot more than a win for Xavier would. Especially given the fact the game is at St John's.

Yet when CU fans comment on it, we get blasted on here for whining about the referees

Because you only saw the bad ones for your team, I'll admit that they suck both ways. BU is just playing very bad today! Not the tough team that I'm use to watching, but it aint the bad officiating, its bad play!

So, who do we raid for their refs? I think the only P5 conference refs we could pick up are the SEC, but without Kentucky I'm not sure they'd know who they were supposed to be favoring. Aside from them I think the best candidates are

1. A10 refs (already familiar with a couple of our teams, probably currently live in the nearby areas).
2. AAC refs, some familiarity with our teams and some (limited) experience with high major play.
3. MVC refs, same reasons as A10.
4. WCC refs, but the commute might be a little long for them.

We could also think outside the box and look at Canadian/European refs, but they might take some time to adjust to the American style of play.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
