2 games involving 3 Big East teams tonight...

7pm, Xavier at Cincinnati, ESPN.
9pm, Providence at DePaul, CBS-SN.

Xavier with a great opportunity for a nice "road" win. Cincinnati has had a good year despite losing Mick Cronin.
DePaul is 4-2 at home in the BE.
Kris Dunn had a triple-double vs DePaul at the Dunk earlier this month.
2 good games.

pretty close to a must win for the Big East hope's of a 6 spot in the tourney tonight with Xavier.

Huge game for PC tonight. They're in the tourney for sure- but with the remaining schedule- @ Nova, Marquette, @ Seton Hall, and Butler- a loss here and could be looking at more of a 7 or 8 seed entering the tourney. Kind of game you just have to win.

If he has 0 FGs than I would bet he has 15 assists and 12 points from the foul line.

This game is absolutely huge for X. none of the players on the team have experienced the shootout at UC. So it's going to be very loud. hope all BE fans tune in to see what is one of the best rivalries in sports (imo)

Tonight is a big step in the conference getting 6 bids. An Xavier win goes a long way. We will all be rooting

Just thinking out loud....

a win tonight by X....
X is 17-10. SJ is 16-9

both need to get to 19 I feel to get in...

X has left besides SJ- Butler, Nova, Creighton.
SJ has left besides X- SH, Georgetown, Marquette, and Nova

If X wins their game- all they would need to do is beat Creighton and they are in.
If SJ wins their game- all they would need to do is beat Seton Hall and Marquette and they are in.

So I could say fairly comfortably if X wins tonight, we pretty much clinch at least 5 spots.

Jim Calhoun doing the Xavier game will be entertaining. He really knows his stuff. His problem is he talks really fast and has an very very extreme New England accent. I watched a game he did at Gonzaga, and even I missed half the things he was saying. I can't imagine how non New Englanders will be able to understand his accent. Enjoy.

P.S. His voice sounds very similar to Carl Yastrzemski's.
