Another 2 huge games tonight.

8pm, #6 Villanova at Providence, FS1.
9pm, DePaul at St John's, CBS-SN.

Think that Nova/PC game is big. For PC- after tonight, they likely are a dog 1 time the rest of the way(@ Nova). Win tonight then and they're looking at possibly a 23-8 season 13-5 in conference. RPI projected there of 14. For Nova- gives them some wiggle room where if they beat Butler, they pretty much clinch the conference regular season.

CBSSN: Rich Waltz & Doug Gottlieb Jon Rothstein (sideline)

I wish we weren't on at the same time, because i really would like to watch that Providence/Nova game.

Providence and SJU winning would be nice.

I don't think the PC/Nova game matters much in terms of getting teams in. PC is in pretty much now as a lock to me. At some point, we need to start rooting for Nova to keep them as a 2 bare minimum with a chance as a 1.

Aw c'mon now Jet. Why no love for the Cats? I can see SJU as they really need it. But PC is basically a lock for the tourney already and wouldn't it be nice for the BE to get a 1-3 seed?

We're not catching Villanova, but we can catch everyone else so I'm rooting for Villanova to win out the rest of the regular season.

Agree, need Nova at 1 or 2 to set the stage for them. We will have several at 5-7; sometimes it a crapshoot with matchups and how you play. A little more cushion for Nova and the BE.

yeah, going to have Nova at 1-2, Butler, Georgetown, and PC in that 5-6 range, and Xavier probably will be in that 8-9 range. St John's if a miracle happens would be a PIG team almost certainly.
