We'd obviously all like to avoid being the "1st four" but tell me you're not intrigued by that St. John's-UCLA game!

7 bids f the NCAA Tourney?

1 of those is Creighton's, even if we have to steal the BET in March (this season).

If the current Big East Conference gets 7 bids this season (70% of the conference), it would out do the most the 16 school original Big East Conference ever had, 8 bids (50% of the conference).

Big East sent 11 in 2011. UConn Also won that year after finishing 9th in conference play but sweeping the BE tourney. That's still 68% of the conference so even if we get 7, still technically beat that record.

Yeah, I love the new BE but nothing is topping the Big East from 5-6 years ago. It was the deepest, most talented conference ever.

We might see that game in the NIT tourney. It would be held in NYC and a win would be almost as good for the league as a bubble invite.
