I am just glad that the probability of DePaul finishing in that spot is not 100%! We might be a 6-7-8 team! At this pace, we might win the conference in 2038!

I think your goal may be to not play on Wednesday night. With the tiebreakers you guys are starting to rack up, that is a very real possibility. swept Seton Hall(so that takes out the Nova factor), split with Xavier, got 1 already from St John's. It's almost to the point where if you guys beat Marquette and Creighton, and then get 1 more win, you would be in the top 6 almost for sure.

With last night's Creighton win over DePaul, the Wednesday game contestants at MSG are almost certain, but the pairings very much up in the air. Creighton, DePaul, Marquette and Seton Hall will be playing Wednesday.

Just looking
DePaul 6-10
Seton Hall 5-10
Creighton 4-11
Marquette 3-11
games left this week:
Marquette @ Butler
Butler @ DePaul
Creighton @ Seton Hall
Marquette @ Providence

so by Sunday night-
DePaul 6-11 2-0 vs SH, 1-1 vs Cre, 1-0 vs Mar
Creighton 5-11 1-1 vs Dep, 1-1 vs Mar, would be 1-1 vs SH if they beat them on Sat
Seton Hall 5-11 0-2 vs Dep, 1-1 vs Mar, would be 1-1 vs Cre if they lose to them on Sat
Marquette 3-13 0-1 vs Dep, 1-1 vs Cre, 1-1 vs SH

remaining games after that-
Villanova @ Creighton- Creighton goes to 5-12
Providence @ Seton Hall- Seton Hall goes to 5-12
St John's @ Marquette- Marquette goes to 3-14, clinches 10th seed
Seton Hall @ Georgetown- Seton Hall goes to 5-13
DePaul @ Marquette
Xavier @ Creighton

If Xavier beats Creighton, Dep is 6-11, SH is 5-13, Cre is 5-13, and Mar is 3-14 The DePaul/Marquette game would be seeding wise meaningless, and also a preview of the 7/10 game on Wednesday.
Actually in this scenario, this week's Seton Hall/Creighton game is meaningless for 7 and 8 seed. Dep would be 6-11, SH would be 6-12, Cre would be 4-14, and Mar would be 3-14. If Marquette won that game, it would be a tie between Creighton and Marquette for 9th- broken by which one of St John's(Creighton) or Providence(Marquette) finishes higher.

So DePaul is in the drivers seat for 7, Seton Hall is for 8(both primarily just because of previously won games).

Frankly, if I'm either Marq or CU, I'd prefer that 10th seed. Either way you play a winnable game (likely vs. SHU or Depaul) and then avoid having to play Nova.

Thats not the point, you might win a game or two in the BE tourney but no one remembers that but they will remember who won the Tourney since they become BE champs. On the other hand people will remember if you finished last in the regular season schedule. Seriously, 2008 was the last time DePaul did not finish in last place.

DePaul's current overall record is 10th out of all the Big East schools current overall records.
