UConn lost to Memphis last night and are now 1-5 against the top half of the AAC. They certainly don't have the look of a team getting ready to go on a run.

On a positive note, their prized freshman Daniel Hamilton had a sensational game. Hamilton and sophomore center Amida Brimah combined for 44 points. Hamilton added 13 rebounds and 7 assists to his 25 points.

Oklahoma State's loss to West Virginia at home will drop them down a notch and open up space in the competition for seeding on the 5-6 lines.

Dayton falls to Duquesne. I don't think Dayton is anywhere near as safe as they think they are. 39 RPI and 3 tough games left in VCU, RI, and La Salle. It's a whole lot easier to see the A10 with only 2 teams than it is the AAC.

Texas also lost at home. Rpi is still in the 30s but at some point, 1-9 vs RPI top 50 should mean something. Dayton also lost to Duquesne and their rpi is now 41.

That is one awful Dayton loss. Not good for a team that may find itself on the bubble with no wins vs the top 25 and only 2 bs 26-50 and now with a loss to a team with an RPI over 250.

Florida lost to LSU and now has a losing record both in the SEC and for the season overall.

My Gator friends are beside themselves. One of those years.

Someone mentioned that Duquesne beat Dayton. You can't be serious.

Texas is also close to what I've been saying about Xavier record wise. Down to 17-10 now, with 2 tough games this upcoming week. They lose both(WV, Kansas I think), they're 17-12 with Baylor coming up. 18-13 and a 1st rd loss and they're 18-14 and probably out of the tourney..

18-14 record teams generally speaking do not get into the tourney- no matter the rest of the resume.

Another team where the record will be coming into play- UCLA lost tonight to Arizona. They're now 16-12.
