The Big East has 3 ranked teams in the AP Poll today...

#7 Villanova.
#21 Georgetown.
#25 Butler.

I deleted my psycho rant where i criticized Miami of Florida, Notre Dame, Larry Brown, the Cheatin' Tarheels, Louisville and Virginia, and the Eastern Kentucky Goat Herders, and any other over-rated team. Especially ACC teams, who went 2-7 vs the Big East.

Congrats to the Hoyas and Bulldawgs on their well-deserved return to the polls! Keep up the great work!

Maybe if Providence hadn't lost to Brown, things would be a smidge different right now....

Tough to argue with Virginia right now- they're one of only 2 undefeated teams- with 6 top 50 wins. We'll learn about them a lot in the next week or so- Duke, @ UNC, and Louisville in 3 back to back games.

Expecting Georgetown to be higher but didn't expect Butler so Ill take it. Hopefully we can keep 3 in the polls for the rest of the year.

Yeah, and maybe if Miami didnt lose by 28 to Eastern Kentucky and by 13 to Green Bay, and you know like, Providence by double digits, things would be different.

But......Miami and ND are in the ACC.

Providence should be ranked as well and I think Georgetown & Butler probably should be higher.

frankly I think PC should be in over Butler. Butlers 5 conference wins- St John's, Xavier, Seton Hall 2x, and Creighton. PC's 5 conference wins- Creighton 2x, Butler, Georgetown, and Xavier. Cancel out 1 Creighton game and Xavier- Butler- St John's, Seton Hall 2x. PC- Creighton, Butler, and Georgetown. And the fact that PC beat Butler at their place.

It shouldn't be either/or with Big East teams. We're the #2 rated RPI conference. Both Butler and PC should be ranked, along with Villanova and Georgetown, who should be way higher than #21.
