Will PC and DePaul play on Tuesday night?

PC has played at The Dunk during snowstorms in the past (see Butler game last year in front of a couple thousand people), but this one is supposed to be massive. Even if DePaul is already at a downtown hotel, I'm not sure if the employees and refs will be able to make it.

great point. you know it's bad when they're saying it's a historic snowstorm up there.

Under almost any circumstance rescheduling the game would not be an option. I'd be suprised if they didn't play.

PC AD just tweeted that they are in conversations with the Big East, Fox Sports and DePaul about possibly rescheduling. A final decision will be made tomorrow.
In 1978 the game went on.

Based on weather forecast, it would be prudent to keep the DePaul team home. This looks to be too dangerous of a storm to venture out.

I was in 4th grade for the Blizzard of 78... in northern RI, my town got 48 inches... no school for 2 weeks... I think I was out sledding for hours during the UNC classic so didn't watch it live... hey, I was only 9.5 years old...!
The game tomorrow should be canceled. I think all airports around here will be closed Tuesday. But if they insist on playing, and if there's a possibility of playing on-campus, I think that would make for an amazing TV atmosphere. I'd lose my tickets, but as long as it was on FS1, I'd be cool with it.

Fwiw, Creighton fans,
SJU got on a flight this morning I am told, so game will be on. If they tried to get a flight tomorrow (original plan), it might've been cancelled. So good thing they hopped on plane. I personally was hoping for the game to postponed so DLo could rest his calf and shoulder, but so be it

Might be a close game since we are at home but I wouldn't worry.....we had problems with SJU last year.
