Confused
These are the big east standings:
1. THE Nova (mocking the jealous rutgers fans here)
2. Providence
3. Seton Hall
4. Johnnies
5. Georgetown
6. Butler
7. Xavier
8. Creighton
9. Marquette
10. The team that shall not be named.

if I had to do a ratings-
1 Nova
2 Seton Hall
3 Georgetown
4 Providence
5 Xavier
6 Butler
7 St John's
8 DePaul
9 Marquette
10 Creighton
tough call between 3/4 with Georgetown and Providence right now. We'll know a lot when they see each other coming up next week. Butler and St John's to me very precarious. Very confidant with the top 5 making the tourney. Butler with I think a HUGE game tomorrow with Xavier. Of all the games projected to win- this is their 2nd smallest winning pct. A loss here, and they're looking at 1-3 with a 2 game road trip to Seton Hall and Georgetown next week.

Just curious why you have Seton Hall behind Villanova when the Pirates beat the Wildcats? Aside from that game what is the difference that stands out for you with both teams?

Nova v shu was an overtime loss at seton hall. Does that win make up for the hall's 40 pt loss to Georgia, and negate novas wins against vcu, temple, michigan, illinois, syracuse and the johnnies on the road? Probably not.
That's why everyone still has nova ahead of the hall.

And Xavier beat Seton Hall, so why does he still have the Pirates ahead of the Musketeers? One head to head result doesn't overshadow a full body of work, especially when the head to head result is just the home team holding serve. If SHU's win over Nova came on the road, then
maybe there'd be an argument for putting them up top.
