8500 is not a bad turnout for a weeknight college basketball game. But this is a ranked johnnies versus a top 10 team. I expected to see 12k and was disappointed when I looked at the box.
It looked fine on tv though.

It's NYC, you got to get 13,000 to 16,000 in MSG.
