Rob Stone, Kevin Burkhardt and Don Bell take turns hosting INSIDE THE BIG EAST from FOX Sports' Los Angeles studios and are joined by a rotating group of analysts, including Austin Croshere, Ben Howland, Donny Marshall and Kevin O'Neill with commentary from Bill Raftery.

INSIDE THE BIG EAST presents exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from practices and games, including locker room speeches, and checks in with coaches from around the conference. Each week, the show highlights a different BIG EAST program, beginning this Sunday with a poignant feature on Providence forward LaDontae Henton, whose brother - the one who taught him to play basketball and his best friend - is serving a life sentence. Also this week, BIG EAST players and coaches share their New Year's resolutions, St. John's head coach Steve Lavin joins by satellite, and a special look at the behind-the-scenes footage from Wednesday's FOX Sports 1 New Year's Eve marathon.

Gr8 promo on Creighton this week.
Gr8 piece on THE BUTLER WAY

Donnie Marshall is pretty good in the studio. He needs to give his friends in Storrs a call and invite them to the party. His stomach must be turning at the thought of more than five yrs in the Conference of Americans (watched some of that sum v cud game today, shocking how empty any sporting event can be. Minor league lacrosse has a better following)

Wojo is such an upgrade over that clown Buzzy. Caught a little bit of a v-tech v cuse blowout loss and Buzzy was sweating so bad I thought his equipment manager was going to have to use a sponge on him.

I think it was time for Buzz to move on. Did great things at Marquette. Going to three straight sweet 16 and one was an elite 8 and a Big East title.

Va Tech did have a shot at the end to beat Syracuse. Many Marquette fans have said he doesn't look healthy this year.

Marquette made buzzy a top ten paid coach in the nation. Buzzy is not a top ten coach in the nation (not even top 25).

Cream was better than Buzzy, and wojo might turn out to be the best of the the three

Please offer one stat to support this. Crean had a final four run due to three NBA players one of whom is a once in a generation player. Buzz had consistent sustained success over the years. He's not a good X's and O's coach (probably why we lost so many close games under his watch) but he is an unbelievable motivator who gets more effort from his players than any other coach in the country.

buzzy 0

Crean 4
Buzz 2

Nba finals MVP
Crean 1
Buzzy 0

You can place whatever weight you want in this stuff, but I think Cream was better.

Crean took over a team from a lesser caliber conference that had made it out of the first weekend only once in almost a quarter century and had limited tv exposure and returned them to national prominence, including a big east invite and a final four. Buzzy took over a team that was in the best conference in the nation with big tv exposure and recent national success and maintained the level that Crean created, but never reached the same heights. You disagree with that statement?

Give me Crean.

Buzz took MU took the 2nd weekend three times and won a Big East title. Crean has a Final Four and a Conf. USA title and brought student season tickets from 200 to over 3,000. Crean doesn't get the credit he should get from his days at Marquette. Maybe the Crean and Crimson have something to do with it.
