**Note**
The Marquette women's game is on tonight (Friday) at Georegetown on FS1 at 7:30pm, before the men's Pac-12 coverage tips-off on FS1 with UCLA at Colorado. Those looking for Gus and Raftery this weekend are working Sunday nights game at 7pm ET, Arizona State at Arizona. Plus, in women's action for those that care, Seton Hall is at St, John's at 6pm on CBSSN. Good to see Big East women get some national tv action.

I got:

Nova over the hall, but I expect this one to be tight and a hall win would not surprise me.

Providence and Xavier win on the road, and georgetown and the johnnies protect home court.

every single match is compelling.

villanova vs seton hall got lot more interesting with seton hall win over st johns. nova guards should be able to defend the 3pt line and limit gibbs and sina. i'm very intrigued at ochefu and delgado matchup as well.

providence faces very dangerous and desperate marquette team at marquette. fischer looked good in ooc plays but struggled against first BE opponent. his play against derossier should say alot about his play going forward.

can depaul win two in a row? when you have a good pg like billy garrett jr you always have a chance. it's a shame they had such bad ooc stretch because their talent is better than their record. xavier better treat this as elimination game. they are also a bubble team and can't afford a bad loss.

both butler and st johns started slow last season and never recovered. one of them will start the league play 0-2. butler usually doesn't turn the ball over much and if they get st johns to a half court grind it out type game and make some shots outside, could be a long day for johnnies.

gtown really struggled on offense against xavier. creighton has enough bodies to guard josh smith down low. their strategy should be to pack in and let gtown beat them from outside. other than DSR, gtown has no real outside threat. I still think gtown pulls this one out being at home, but freshmen need to step up.

Butler/St John's and Georgetown/Creighton 2 huge games- just look at next games for each program-
St John's- 1/6 Villanova, 1/14 @ Providence
Butler- 1/6 Providence, 1/10 Xavier, 1/13 @ Seton Hall, 1/17 @ Georgetown
Georgetown- 1/6 Marquette, 1/10 @ Providence
Creighton- 1/7 DePaul, 1/10 Seton Hall

Georgetown/Creighton not quite so much- but the St John's/Butler loser looking at real problems..

and I'd say the Providence game is kind of a big one.... after this game their next games-
@ Butler, Georgetown, St John's, @ Creighton, and Xavier. That's 4 real tough games and then Creighton at their place.

PC we're going to know a lot by mid-Feb- after that stretch- they have a game with DePaul- followed by 5 games with @ St John's, @ Georgetown, @ Xavier, Villanova, and Seton Hall. So in a 6 week stretch- they have Georgetown 2x, St John's 2x, Xavier 2x, and Butler, Villanova and @ Creighton.

Gibbs and Sina are not create your owns shot type of players although Gibbs can somewhat. If Nova shuts down the inside game and gets rebounds , then the 3 will be easy to defend as both starting SHU guards are smaller.
