Nova lost that game on the line.....

And that might have been the Hall's best game at the line.

Alot of teams lose a game on the line or on the boards or ....... No excuses

Good game by the Hall. They overcame being outplayed on the boards to win a big game.

Wow, what a game and what am atmosphere. I wish the crowd could bring it like that every time.

And to make this big win for Seton Hall even better, they had 8 big recruits behind the bench today. This had to have made an impression on some of them.

Road teams can't buy a win thus far. Looks like X and Providence might be going down too

Jamee Crockett corner three puts DePaul up eight with 7:30 to go.

Xavier answers back with a three on the next possession.

Okay I know I'm bitter right now since X is playing like crap. But when did it become cool to show the bench, coach cheerleaders, zoom in on the guy who took the shot, etc when the ball is in play. I want to see the game not everything else. When did this become cool. Sorry for the rant too many shots of tequila!

This was my reaction following the game. (I TiVo games as I live in a different time zone, so it is delayed)

What a great big east basketball game:

Tough to be too upset after that ine. Sure, we had some chances, left some points at the charity stripe, and missed some shots. But this is college basketball, and that is going to happen. Was an electric atmosphere filled with people from New Jersey and Joey Davis really brought his A game with the play by play today.

we were not going to go undefeated, and several of us experts in this board had been calling this perhaps nova's biggest test of the season.

That game was exciting. You had the home team trying to pull the upset. You had josh Hart playing the role of the villain. Ochefu with 19 pts and 24 boards?

Seton Hall is a good team. I know whitehead is out, but they are actually a little better right now without him. He is one of their better players, but their offense has more chemistry with the unit they ran today. When whitehead comes back they might be better off with him coming off the bench the way Pinkston used to come off the bench for nova or hart does now. sina as a spot shooter and more of a role player in the offense works a bit better right now than trying to incorporate more of an isolation/create your own shot freshman in whitehead.

Delgado remains my pick for freshman of the year. His minutes were limited today, but that kid is good. Carrington and Rodriguez had a little bit of a coming out party.

Seton Hall will probably be ranked on Monday, and they continue to play well, but next yr really is the year for them. Could be pre-season big east favorites if they remain in tact for 2015-16. Gibbs is only a junior, Sina is back, and the four freshmen. Mobley and Manga are seniors, but the hall should be able to recover from their departure.

On to nova:
Ochefu, nice game
wTF on everyone shooting-wise
Hart, no need to kick dudes when you are on the ground
Hilliard, nice start to the second half
Solid minutes from jenkins.
JVP worked well in the paint, but sometimes he just struggles to finish
Archie??? When will the slump end???
I saw Ennis in the floor a lot today, but cannot remember anything he did.
Booth hit a nice three pointer in his limited action

Defense was good overall, but just a step slow in overtime. Thought seton hall did a good job showing more energy on loose balls, which we should not have happen. Feet looked a little sluggish overall.

Oh well, off to the Graden!!
