Any word on Brandon Miller? His 12 week FMLA would have expired on Christmas I believe.

No info here, but I doubt the FMLA matters much in this case.

actually it would- was reading in one of the stories weeks ago that he could have come back and legally Butler would have had to put him back in his old job.

Ok, I am not a lawyer but aren't coaches typically contract 1099 personnel and as such aren't they excluded from FMLA?

There is expected to be an announcement sometime within the next week regarding the situation. My best guess is that the school will settle with Miller and go their separate ways and that Holtman will have the interim tag removed.

Chris Holtman deserves to have the interim tag removed. Not sure what was/has been going on with Branden Miller, but there has definitely been a high-level of mystery and concern for his situation. Whether it's health-related or personal-related, it's probably best for both parties to go their separate ways.

Yes, but that's not how things are handled at this level.
