And any comments

1. Wildcats
2. Redmen
3. Hoyas
4. Frairs
4(t). Bulldogs
6. Pirates
7. Eagles
7(t). Jays
9. Musketeers

Top 3 have a solid enough out of conference resume where 10 conf wins has them dancing prior to the conference tournament.
Next three will be on the bubble, but perhaps right side of bubble, with 10 conf wins entering big east tournament.

1 nova
2 St. John's
3 gtown
4 PC
5 butler
6 seton hall
7 Xaxier
8 Marquette
9 Creighton
10 DePaul

Truly based on performance thus far think gtown will finish 2nd though. Also believe PC and Xaxier have a ton of potential.

1) Nova
2) Georgetown
3) St. John's
4) Xavier
5) Providence
6) Butler
7) Seton Hall (I'm assuming whitehead is done for a long time if not the season)
8) Marquette
9) Creighton
10) DePaul

4-6 is the toughest for me.

X seems to be the most variable but I can't blame the other posters, we don't have a single good win and 3 bad losses.

I really think the Big East is very balanced that any team could win on any night (except DePaul.) So I will put it in tiers instead.

1. Nova, Johnnies, GTown
2. Providence, Butler, Xavier
3. Creighton, Marquette (can move up with Fischer's play), Seton Hall

There is a lot to bitch about with this list, but I am just going with my gut based on what I have seen (almost every team play at least one game.)

I'd cosign this except I might move Seton Hall up to the second tier but who knows with their injuries.

I think X will start clicking soon and finish top 4

for me looking at what teams need-
1- Villanova- pretty much finish 8-10 or better and they are in the tourney.
2- St John's- with a win over Tulane- would need 9 more wins between BE play and Duke.
3- Seton Hall- need 10 wins between BE and BET play.
4- Providence- need 11 wins between BE and BET play. 20-13(which would be 10 wins) would get on bubble.
5- Butler- with a win over Belmont- needs 10 wins between BE and BET play
6- Georgetown- needs 10 wins between BE and BET play.
7- Xavier- with win over FGCU(real dangerous trap type game btw)- needs 11 wins between BE, BET play or Cincy
8- Creighton- needs 11 wins between BE and BET play.
9- Marquette- with win over Morgan St- needs 12 wins between BE and BET play
10- DePaul- needs to win the BET to make the tourney

To me best case scenario right now is 6 teams. worst case is probably close to last year. Realistic case is 4 teams again- but with much better seedings for the 3/4 teams.

my personal top 10
1 Villanova
2 St John's(note, if Nova had lost to Syracuse, SJ would be #1 right now)
3 Georgetown
4 Providence
5 Butler
6 Xavier
7 Seton Hall(dinged due to injuries)
8 Marquette
9 Creighton
10 that other team
