Sat Dec 27th - 2 Games, GU-IU, Seton-Maine.

Saturday we have 2 games scheduled.

12pm, Georgetown vs Indiana. <--- at MSG in NYC.
12pm, Maine at Seton Hall.

A nice Hoya win would go a long way and should get them ranked. Their Florida win will look better as the season continues. 2 non-conference losses, both close vs Top-10 Wisconsin and Kansas. Also the Butler loss.

The Hoosiers best wins are vs Pitt and SMU. They hung with Louisville, but also lost to Eastern Washington in the last minute. Their other opponents were weak, like Lamar, Grand Canyon, and Savannah State and similar others.

Seton Hall is without Whitehead, but should be heavy favorites. The Pirates got a big boost as George Washington took down Wichita. Looked bad in last game on road at Georgia, after a blowout win at So Florida.

Maine is 1-9, but they've been in a lot of games, and seem to lose gas in the 2nd half. I like their coach, and eventually things will click for them, but hopefully not tomorrow. Maine has gone from 30 to 40 point losses in November, to more respectable single-digit losses in December.

This georgetown game is up there as one of the biggest of the season thus far. Really a game they should win. At MSG, they are the better team. They need a credible win to go along with the Florida win.

Go hoyas!

Seton Hall should roll maine.

If Georgetown's recruiting doesn't hold up these next few years, they could easily become a lower tier BE team. Because they are already losing games they should be winning with their level of talent.

Refs aren't doing Georgetown any favors but they look horrible.....did they forget how to make layups? A ton of missed bunnies, hopefully they can come back in the second half.

How many lay-ups are G'Town going to miss? They've blown 6-7 bunnies already in the 1st half.

G'town has missed their share of bunnies. It looks to be contagious.

I also wouldn't start Josh Smith at the beginning of the 2nd half. I'd leave him on the bench 'til the first tv timeout or if Indiana goes up by 15 points prior to the first tv timeout. He already has 3 fouls, and I could easily see him pick up another one, as G'town tries to climb back into this game. He also tends to reach on defense (especially, when he's getting tired).

I expect the Hoyas to make a run or even win it. Although, it may be a bit tough, if Indiana continues to get the shots they like. The freshman, Blackmon of the Hoosiers, is a whale of a shooter. He's hit some tough ones, too.

Smith just needs to sit on the bench the rest of the year. Guy can barely make it up and down the court or rotate fast enough to help. Should have tried out for the Football team.

Georgetown may not be the elite program they were during the Ewing years but they are still a high level program. They aren't about to drop to the bottom of the Big East.
