Seton Hall announced today that the lower bowl of the Prudential Center has been sold out for the Jan 3rd game against Villanova. It'll be interesting to see if they stick with the current sellout, or if they open the curtains and sell seats in the upper level. The only time SHU has previously made upper level seats available was in Feb. 2013 for the last Big East home game against Syracuse. I'm also curious to see how much of this sellout is SHU fans getting excited about this team and how much of it is traveling Villanova fans filling the place up. The 'nova fans will be there, they always are, but I see no reason to expect more than usual so I'm leaning towards the former.

I bet it will be pretty evenly split (maybe 55/45 or 60/40)... Nova travels well and they have a lot of Northern NJ alums... SHU fans better start buying tickets... And the students better start going to the games even during break... You know our fans, any excuse to not go to a basketball game.
