2 games on Thursday...

7pm, Seton Hall at South Florida.
10pm, DePaul at Oregon State.

Two road games, but both winnable.

South Florida is 4-4, and has lost 3 straight, at Alabama and Detroit Mercy, and home to Georgia Southern. Two of their wins were by 2 over UAB, and 1 over Hofstra.

Oregon State is 6-2, with losses in Las Vegas vs Oklahoma State and Auburn. DePaul beat OSU at Rosemont last year.

the USF game is a tough one. Seton Hall's 2nd road game. USF also earlier this year lost to NC State by 3 at their place. In a way, it's a tough situation for Seton Hall- a win and they won't get much credit- but it's a real tricky game and very possible to lose.

As for DePaul- it's a pretty big game. Remember earlier this year- several big name teams lost in a game on their way to the islands. But don't want to have a 3 game losing streak heading into a game with Colorado on Monday.

USF current NCAA RPI is 200. Oregon State is 146.

I'm seeing on Warren Nolan 194 and 156 respectively.

The USF game is dangerous even with the high RPI. USF lost to NC State by 3 earlier at NC State. Plus it's a old conference rivalry.

For Oregon St- yeah their RPI is high- but you know what- DePaul is at 187 right now.

On Ken Pom- Seton Hall is 70% favorite, and DePaul is a 70% underdog. That seems about right on both counts- but wouldn't shock me if either game flips.

Yes, but compared to Seton Hall's first road game, this may as well be a neutral court.

Winter break at USF for a 4-4 team that never gets more than 3k for the games?

Not much of a "home court" environment.

As said above, may as well be a neutral court.

Nice mini-vacation for the Pirates... Fla & Georgia for a week after exams.

Now let's get out of the south with 2 more W's!

I just hope they don't play like they're on vacation. Shouldn't be an issue though, they were ready to play all 3 games in the Bahamas and this team has made a habit of not overlooking lesser opponents so far.

Not sold on USF being a tricky team. The Hall should win by double digits.
