NCAA names Oliver Luck new executive vice president of regulatory affairs: http://on.ncaa.com/1BYsvQq
Another P5 big football advocate steps into a power position in the NCAA as VP or Regulatory Affairs. Luck was the AD at West Virginia and did all he could to promote the P5 and their autonomy scam. He is a former football QB at West Virginia and with the NFL. It may be only my perception however it seems in the last 5 or 6 years more football people have been hired and promoted to executive positions in the NCAA. Can anyone remember the last time a basketball first person gained such a position in the NCAA. I may have a faulty memory but I do not remember any such ads to exec level positions. Please correct me if I am wrong.
One thing Luck was a major proponent of was expansion in the B12. Now that he is gone perhaps that movement will slow down.
