What a total meltdown by DePaul, full of undisciplined and bonehead moves.

DePaul writing the book on what NOT TO DO up 6 with the ball under 2 minutes to ago. It's like Purnell told his guys, whatever you think is a good thing, do the opposite.

that was so hard to watch at the end. Completely lost it. So undisciplined. No motivation. No time management. No seeming understanding of the situation. It was like watching a 5th grade game.

Completely shocked by theDePaul loss. Saw a good chunk of the first half but couldn't watch the rest of the game. Illinois State. Didn't look like they belonged on the same floor with them and then ISU won the game?

Yes. Tennessee is actually a good team. Only losses are to VCU, Kansas (were tied late), and Marquette. Beat K-State. Their coach is good... he just came over from Southern Miss. This isn't a bad loss at all for Butler. Would have been a nice win though.

Tennessee is decent but not great by any means. They are #88 in kenpom's rankings.

Surprised Butler got ran out of the gym in the second half.

Its no surprise seeing as how poorly they played after the first few minutes of the half.

Tennessee completely took them out of their game, not only getting in their heads with jawing back and fourth, but also getting out coached IMO. The silver lining is that sometimes a loss like this will do lots of good for the rest of the season. The ranking was too high, and these guys need to realize their weaknesses. It serves as a good wake-up call, and a sharpening of their focus. I think Tennessee exposed those, so they have a week to improve and then hopefully kick the crap out of IU.

If BU had been handled thoroughly all game, I'd be much more concerned. Sure Tennessee is not a great team, but they do have talent, and it was on their home court. Butler shat the bed and had correctable mistakes and poor play for less than half of the game. It can be, and will be fixed.

I can forgive this game (really, the 2nd half), but an uninspired loss to IU, and I'll have problems, and concerns.

DePaul now 6-3. They should not have lost to Lehigh and Illinois State, George Washington is a good team. First loss ever to Illinois State at home. Overall, DePaul is still 21-5 overall against Illinois State, but lost their last 3 games to them. Very confusing how DePaul can manage to beat UIC, Drake, Stanford, Northern Illinois, Chicago State, and UW-Milwaukee, but lose to Lehigh, George Washington, and Illinois State. That's two bad losses in 9 games.
