Geeh, if MU could've made shots in the paint, this would be a great day for the Big East. Still got Alabama at Xavier on CBSSN.

I believe they said 1999 with Artest and Bootsy Thornton.

Well done guys!!!

Who doesn't love this conference right now who otherwise has a stake in it.

We had a legitimate shot. We looked really tired at the end, especially STJ and Juan. A couple more warm bodies would go a long way. We haven't been completely out of any games this year. Too bad about Omaha, but the future looks bright.

Phil Green is one of the most underated players in the league. Very clutch down the stretch. Maybe St. John's will get ranked on Monday. They played a strong game against Gonzaga and beat Syracuse at home.

Nice half X.

As an aside, today was Marquette's last game without a true center. Will it make a big difference? (pardon the pun). No way to know. But we will finally have someone over 6'7" on the floor, and that's never a bad thing. FWIW I think we win our last 4 non-con games and come into conference play 8-4 (9-3 would have been marginally better but...)

Luke Fischer will be an impact player.

A few fun facts. The longest home non-conference winning streak is owned by Duke. St. John's is the last non-ACC team to beat the Dukies at home. Today, St. John's ended the second longest home non-conference winning streak at the Dome. In doing so, the new second longest non-conference home winning streak goes to....The Providence Friars. You're welcome boys.

There was a point in the second half where MU played great D, Wisconsin missed 2 threes, got the offensive rebound on each, and finally hit a three on the third attempt. Gaining Fischer's height will have a really huge impact going forward.
