Let's go 6-0! Buck the Fadgers! (works better with the Buckeyes)
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Didn't take too long for the wheels to come off in this one.

It's good to see Pete Gillen still involved in basketball. I rarely watch CBSSN (except when I visit a sports bar and have no other choice) and so don't see him often. Are there any other X fans who remember the great teams he had during the 9 years he coached at X? I remember that in 9 years he was in the dance 7 times and once in the NIT. He was especially good at recruiting point guards. After that he went to PC and began a long decline. He also coached in the ACC for a few years but again his coaching and recruiting abilities seemed to degrade. I am not sure what his final coaching job was after he was fired by Virginia. Perhaps that was his last hurrah. Brad Johansen who never played or coached basketball is a much superior sportscaster. He also left Cincinnati where he broadcast UC football but came back and has had a rebirth as a news anchor. I was not aware he still did sports broadcasts on weekends.

This post should be of no interest to anyone except X sports fans and perhaps not much to the younger ones either. At least it allows me to practice my keyboard skills.

Pleasantly surprised by the Pirates' massacre of R(pi poison)U. It's usually a very competitive game.

Villanova beats the 3rd or 4th-best team in Philly by a ton. Seton Hall beats the 3rd or 4th-best team in Jersey by a ton.

Marquette will fight, but they're just not that good. Would be great to get the Johnnies to beat Syracuse. Xavier or Butler losing would hurt.

I think Xavier is sufficiently pissed that the Tide will get rolled tonight.

I was really impressed with Seton Hall today. Butler looks good as well. To me, everyone except Creighton looks better than they did last year. Yeah its early, but everyone seems to have stepped up their game.
