Way to go Bluejays! Way to get it done!
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Wow, surprising.

Three ranked teams right now, nice!! Plus, Xavier looks really good so if they keep winning they should break through soon.

Out of the BE Providence definitely belongs in the top 25 before Creighton and probably a couple others too (X, Gtown). This is a huge surprise, but I guess you take it, right?

If we win tomorrow and then go 2-0 in Florida (Miss and Cincy) then I'll feel it has a bit more merit...way too early right now.

Congratulations to Creighton on being ranked. Just keep winning and the rankings will take care of themselves. Need Xavier, Nova, Marquette, and Seton Hall to take care of business tonight!!!!

While it's nice recognition as a Jays fan I don't think it's justified. We've played poorly in our other games and for most of the OU game as well. I hope I am wrong but I think we are a 0.500 team in conference this year.

Don't know whether we are top 25 caliber or not, but I know that the Big East better be ready because we are actually playing DEFENSE this year!

I disagree that we've played poorly in our other games. We've had 2 halves where our offense wasn't getting good shots and buckets, but our defense played well during both of those stretches, and we eventually got the offense going. We are overall getting 1.08 Points per possession on offense (including the two halves where we didn't shoot well at all), and have given up 0.88 Points per possession (not a number anyone would have guessed we'd have after we played Oklahoma).

While the offense is still learning to play together, we are putting up good numbers, getting some consistent stops and figuring out how to score after we see what a team is doing defensively (both of the second halves of the Oklahoma and NC Central games had us clocking at just under 1.2 PPP) If we keep sharing the ball and running our offense I think the overall number is moving up a good bit. Defense is tricky, but we look like we can sustain a much better defensive effort this year.

I do think that we have a long ways to go, and nothing is certain, but here are a lot of other teams with question marks and that are trying to figure things out. We've managed to win while doing that, so it doesn't bother me that we are ranked.

Overall, it's great to see the conference doing so well. Every win this month adds weight to the argument for more bids from the Big East.

So the Big East's "9th place" team is ranked #23. I'd say that puts our conference in a pretty good place!
