Saw some of the Butler's games vs Maine and Chattanooga. To me, the Butler players seem physically much bigger than last year, so they must have hit the weights hard this summer. They seemed to dwarf their opponents. Even Woods has bulked up a little. That was my first time seeing Roosevelt Jones... great player... seems to glide effortlessly around the court like he's on ice skates, and has a unique, soft running "push" shot in the lane that is really effective... plus he plays basically any position, the guy is all over the court.
Chrabascz looked good too, the guy does yeomens' work. Barlow was less at PG than last year, and instead much of the time he was sharing Dunham's role of sharpshooting at the perimeter. I don't remember seeing much of the freshman class, but the one I saw (had volume down and couldn't read his name on uniform) looked to be another solidly built athletic small forward type and looked comfortable on the court already.
Maine is weak, but Chattanooga has a decent team, and Butler looked great out there.
