Sunday games:

12pm: Mercer at Seton Hall.
5:30pm: Chicago State at Creighton.

Looking forward to seeing Whitehead and the Hall's freshman class. Mercer lost a lot of kids from last year's team.
Creighton will hopefully be warming up for their huge game Wednesday vs Oklahoma. Attendance is insane at CLink.

2-0...!
Good luck guys.

Good luck SHU! Mercer could end up being a nice non-con win.

Hopefully the Jays don't look past this game towards Wednesday's showdown with Oklahoma (who, by the way, just got TaShawn Thomas eligible). They are a legit top 15 team with him.

Seton Hall playing well. Whitehead looks like a freshman.

Yeah, Whitehead has a horrendous line, can only improve from here. Man, Delgado's going to be good.

Congrats Seton Hall on completing the BE opener sweep! Delgado looks great. Whitehead just nervous. Aside from DePaul I don't think the BE will have any teams over 100 RPI (before conference play starts up anyways).

Not as dominant as I'd hoped, but the hall was never in real danger of losing. Whitehead had a decent first half but couldn't get his shot to fall and then really struggled in the second half. He was visibly frustrated, but his teammates picked up the slack. All the vets played well and Delgado was a monster. With Gibbs and Sina, the Pirates have the luxury of easing Whitehead into his role ave taking some pressure off of him. He'll be fine.

Mercer is an average experienced team (170 kenpom out of 351) yet SH won by 16. And that's with Whitehead being a liability for one game rather than the beast he's expected to be. SH surprised me I think they'll have a good year.
