Was in Chicago last weekend for a VB tourney at the McCormick Place Events Center/Convention Center just south of the museum and Soldier Field. Is there where DePaul's new stadium will be, or is it up north closer to campus?

Yes, it is Directly West of McCormick Place North between S Indiana Ave, E. 21st St., S. Calumet Ave, and E. Cermak Rd.

FWIW, DePaul has confirmed that the school will be writing a check to cover their costs of the arena ($82.5 million) by the end of this month.
