Yikes, moving the student section to the second floor. I don't want to pile on DePaul. But man, that is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard.

Wow. That is just an awful idea to put the student section on the 2nd deck. Short of the team creating its own atmosphere by winning at a high rate, excitement for the new arena is going to fall apart pretty quickly, IMO.

Wow, she's terrible. The sole reason DePaul is in the position it's in. How many basketball head coaches has she been allowed to hire? The worst in the conference and probably the country.

Of course, I really try to defend DePaul on this board (particularly Leitao) but this is just absolutely insane. She's extremely out of touch. One of the dumbest ideas I've eve heard. If you want the new arena to be a good home court advantage in the future, the students MUST be close to the court.

One of the best student sections in all of college hockey is the Dog House at Northeastern, and they're in the upper deck.

Point is, if DePaul sucks, it'll be dead no matter what. If the team is good, the place will be rocking pretty much no matter what.

Demon22 is absolutely correct. If DePaul can finally turn the corner, then the stadium will be a great home court advantage.

I believe that the students should be able to fill both the lower bowl below this "fan deck" and the upper fan deck. This requires winning first.

But this new arena should be helpful to this program.
