DePaul 72 Lewis 68 Exhibition

DePaul barely beat a local, highly-rated D2 team in Lewis University. ND beat them by 22 the next night though.

DePaul plays this team almost every year now as their exhibition opener.

Illinois transfer Myke Henry led the way with 17 points while JC transfer Aaron Simpson had 14 points. Not a good showing for DePaul. Billy Garrett sat out most of the 2nd half with leg cramps and did not return to finish.

DePaul played another poor defensive game but offensively did a decent job.

Some day this program will turn around and be one of the leaders in the Big East like they should.....I think!
