The Friars had a solid, impressive win today over Div-2 Stonehill, 93-49.

Couple of thoughts...

PC looked strong, athletic and tall. Imposing. No one is scrawny. Big question was Dunn's health, but he looked great... disruptive defense, quick, runs the break perfectly, great bb IQ. Another question was Dunn's backup PG, Kyron Cartwright... he looked confident and talented. Fortune is gone, but his replacements Jalen Lindsey and Junior Lomomba are already better. Lindsey is going to be special. Ben Bentil is also outstanding... looks and plays like a Georgetown big man... has to be a Big East ROY candidate. Pascal Chukwu at 7 feet also had a great game.

So, I know the game was vs Stonehill, but wow, the Friars look good... depth is great, talent is insane. As someone said on the Friars board, we were playing in first gear... and we looked very comfortable and talented. And I haven't even mentioned Henton, Harris or Desrosiers, who were all excellent too. Once PC gets more minutes playing together, they'll be fun to watch.

I think you guys could really be terrific. Plus your schedule is set up in a way that would allow you to excel without putting you in a tremendous bind.

Good luck!

Hearing real good things from the friars game last night.
Lost by 2 in a closed scrimmage to Harvard (AP #26) last week. Looked great last night.
We are pretty certain Harris, Henton, and Derosiers will be solid- but the newcomers where the concern.
-And Dunn was the best player on the floor when he chose to be. Lomamba looked solid.

Freshmen: Cartwright looked great and seems to be ready although most overlooked of the freshman.
Ben Bentil has a legit chance to win ROY. Have heard some experts mention this, but he is showing why.
Lindsay will have a role as a wing shooter and defender.
Chukwu will take some time to develop. But at 7'2" and athletic- he just needs to play defense to be effective.

Excitement in Friartown as to the depth, talent, length, and defensive ability of this years team.
Athletes size at every position.

The one thing everybody that went mentioned was how big Dunn has gotten in the 2 years he has sat. Easily 6-4 or 5 and ripped. Just a huge point guard. When your best athlete is that size and plays the point, your defense could be something very good.
