While still in high school, I saw Ernie at SJU, in a great overtime game, and he was the ultimate college point guard. If Barnes doesn't get hurt in the final four semi-final, PC would have beaten Memphis and given UCLA a real test. Great memories.

That reel reminds me of why people always used to say they needed to "put some mustard on that guy". And of course the highlight reel, as fun as it is to watch, doesn't reveal the darker side of "Ernie no-D".

That's a joke, dude. I was referring to the fact that as a highlight reel of Ernie's offense and passing skills (which were incredible), it shows nothing of the fact that his defense was suspect...hence the nickname "No-D". It's a "dark side" because that part of his game is invisible on the tape mix. Lighten up.

I did, and it brought back a lot of great memories for me. I was in grad school at Brown when Ernie and Marvin were doing their thing at PC.
