Holy Land fan poll - who wins the Big East this year?

Nova is the definition of a consistent high level program which routinely battles with the best in the nation and wins many of them. They are carrying the banner for the league especially while G'Town reloads (and they better hurry up). Jay Wright is the best coach in the Big East and among the best in college hoops. They always find shooters who can hit from anywhere and have a few down and dirty big guys in the paint. Nova is one of those teams you can pick to be good basically every year. If I could have SJ model any program in the conference it would be Nova. They almost never seem to disappoint and tend to over-perform.

Nova pretty much has a lock on the poll and the race. I believe they will not only win the BE but will be a top 10 team as well. XU will be good but we have several new players who have never played one minute of college ball. X will finish second but will not top Villanova. Good luck to all the BE teams I only hope we get 4 into the dance again.

If you're not a Xavier fan I'd be interested in how anyone would justify their vote for XU.

Because who in the top 3 or 4 says "I hope we finish second?"

well looking at our poll to start the year
10 - DePaul
9 - Butler
8 - Creighton
7 - Marquette
6 - Seton Hall
5 - St. John's
4 - Providence
3 - Georgetown
2- Xavier
1- Villanova

Nova spot on. St John's looks like spot on. Other than that- Xavier too high, Providence too low. Georgetown probably just right. Butler WAY too low.
