Huge pickup for the Wildcats and it shows that Big East recruiting is still on track.

If Brunson commits to Nova and Ellenson goes to Marquette, that would be huge.

Haven't seen anything even on twitter indicating any type of commitment. I hope you're right but wouldn't be the first time the magic eight ball lied if he went a different direction.

Yeah, I think its rumors right now that he'll commit. It would be a great pickup though.

Hey, look at that... another Top 100 Chicago kid that ends up in the Big East who won't give DePaul the time of day.

Not for nothing, but a lot of Top 100 kids go to Villanova and end up in the Big East. Jalen is considered a Top 25 Player/Top 3 PG in the class of 2015. There is a huge difference between a Top 100 kid and a kid who many feel is already a McDonald's All-American. Regardless of where he is from, this is a HUGE pickup for the Big East. We want to stay relevant? Then the Big East's recruiting needs to stay strong. Not to sound like a cocky dbag, but Jay Wright and Villanova are keeping the program on track, if this league is considered a mid-major in 10 years, Villanova will not be the one to blame.

You don't sound like a cocky dbag. You made a factual point: Nova is staying strong and that helps Nova and the BE.

Let the recruiting get stronger across the board throughout the league.

Keep the league at 10, making it reasonably unique in college basketball at this level.

Let Fox Sports continue to build and develop while the Fox money continues to pour into the Big East.

Keep MSG for the conference tournament.

Watch the conference do well in the NCAA Tournament, in terms of consistently putting 4-5 teams into it and achieving runs within it.

If all that happens, the Big East will enjoy its own position in the world of college basketball, allowing all this good recruiting to be sustainable.
